BP-DR-80 Surface Drifting Buoy, 80 cm

BP-DR-80

BP-DR-80 Surface Drifting Buoy, 80 cm

80 cm offshore drifter with full satellite telemetry and 18-month deployment life.

Output & Integration

Satellite telemetry

Overview

The BuoyPro surface drifters follow surface currents via a 5.3 m holey-sock drogue. An onboard GNSS and high-precision SST sensor return position and water-temperature data over satellite telemetry. The series shares one design across four float sizes (30 / 40 / 60 / 80 cm) — larger floats carry more reserve buoyancy, hold the drogue closer to design depth in heavier sea states, and accommodate larger antennas and batteries for the longest deployments.

FAQ

Can Zenocean products be integrated with third-party monitoring platforms?

Yes. Many Zenocean products are offered with RS485, Modbus, NMEA, or project-specific communication options, making them suitable for integration into third-party acquisition and software environments.

Can you help recommend a sensor model based on the application?

Yes. Buyers can share the application, required parameters, output signal, environment, quantity, and installation conditions, and Zenocean can recommend suitable models or a system configuration.

Are documents available for export and project quotation?

Yes. Product catalogs, datasheets, communication guidance, and selection support can be prepared for export-oriented B2B discussions and project submissions.
